| SEMI-ANNUAL MEETING OF CIRE |
Today (01/03/99) the International Commission for Economic Affairs (CIRE) began their semi-annual meeting. For three days they will be examining and discussing the "consuntivi" or 1998 year-end statement of the Entities Dependent upon the Minister General. Reflecting the international nature of this group of friars, the president is from Argentina, the secretary is from Italy and the other members are from Spain, the United States and Germany. This group is also assisting the Defintorial Committee on Economic matters (CED) in a joint study of the current way in which contributions to the Order are made. The 1998 Consuntivi are prepared by the various houses and collated at the Economato Generale. They are examined by the CIRE and by the CAE (Council for Economic Affairs). After this the CED examines the report and it is presented for approval to the General Definitorium during the March tempo forte. |
| INCONTRO DEL CIRE |
Oggi (1 marzo ’99) la CIRE ha iniziato il suo incontro, che si tiene due volte all’anno. Durante tre giorni saranno esaminati e discussi i bilanci consuntivi riguardanti il 1998 delle Entità e delle Case dipendenti dal Ministro generale. Per quanto riguarda la composizione internazionale di questo gruppo di Frati, il presidente proviene dall’Argentina, il segretario dall’Italia, gli altri membri dalla Spagna, dagli Stati Uniti e dalla Germania. Il gruppo è anche incaricato di aiutare la Commissione Economica Definitoriale (CED) nello studio sui contributi ordinari delle Entità all’Ordine. I consuntivi del 1998 sono stati preparati dalle diverse Case e raccolti presso l’Economato generale. Devono essere esaminati dalla CIRE e dal CAE (Consiglio Affari Economici); dopo un ulteriore esame da parte della Commissione Economica Definitoriale, verranno presentati per l’approvazione al Definitorio generale nel prossimo tempo forte di marzo. |
