2. - Specific objectives :
2.1
To give special atenttion to animating those Entities of the Order in
most need of help, in order that they might puting to practise the different
documents of the Order referring to Formation and Studies.
2.2
To promote discussion in the whole Order on the "Pastoral Care of
Vocations".
2.3
To give special attention, also, to the priority of franciscan
formation during the period of temporary Profession and continuing assistance
in spiritual growth in the period that follows solemn Profession and priestly
Ordination.
2.4
To continue the task of elaboration of the Ratio Studiorum
Ordinis.
2.5
To promote concrete initiatives for the Formation of the Formators.
2.6
To encourage the inclusion of study in the formationn process as an
intrinsic part of our human and spiritual formation.
2.7
To continue the search for and the preparation of new teachers and
researchers for our Centers of Study.
2.8
To coordinate mutual collaboration between our Centers of Study, and
where possible, promote the creation of new Centers for the study of
franciscan spirituality at the interprovincial level or with others of the
Franciscan Family.
2.9
Where possible to help the process of affiliation of our Study Centers
with the PAA.
2.10
To administer, under the direction of the Minister General, the Fund for
Formation and Studies.
3. Activities:
3.1
Visiting the varies Entities of the Order to assure that the documents
of the Church and the Order on Formtion are in use.
3.2
Meeting with the Formators of Conferences or Regions for:
3.4.
International conference on the pastoral Care of Vocations of the
Order for provincial promoters on "Pastoral Care of Vocations".
3.5.
International conference for provincial Secretaries for Formation and
Studies, to clarify their role.
3.6.
International meeting with editors of the research magazines and with
Researchers of the Order, to give a greater impulse to studies and culture in
the Order.
3.7.
To work with an International Commission in elaboration of the Ratio
Studiorum Ordinis.
3.8.
To work with an International Commission in the elaboration of new
developments for permanent formation.
3.9.
To take care of the celebration of the Seminar on the Franciscanism in
the CISA, for the students who end their studies to Rome.
3.10.
Periodic meetings with the friars in service of the Order under the
direction of the General Minister for Study.
3.11.
To coordinate sabbaticals in the Holy Land, in collaboration with the
Custody of the Holy Land, the Provinces and the Conferences.
3.12.
To coordinate courses of foreign language, in collaboration with
Provincies or Conferences.
3.13.
Periodic meetings with friars studying on scholarships.
