Today, the 25th of June, a friar from the Province of St. John Capistran in Hungary, MARCELLIAN MADI celebrates his 100 birthday!. Fr. Marcellián joined the Order as a "late vocation". He made his first profession on 30th August 1937 and solemn profession on 3rd October 1940. For the last 40 years he has served as porter at the Friary of the Provincial Curia in Budapest, Margitkrt. At this age he still offers two hours of porter service on weekdays. Fr Marcellián is in pretty good health compared to his age, needs only little medical attention and is and is still an active member of the fraternity. The Minister General sent his personal greetings for the occasion. We, at Communications Office, wish to extend our sincerest wishes to our brother!
