Diary 11.06.2003

Today was characterised by the work of the Chapter Members in the Commissions on various topics; it is through this methodology of meeting and reciprocal exchange that the propositions to be put to the judgement of the assembly are made concrete. The topics on which the reflection is being carried out are the following: the revision of some articles of the General Statutes; Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation; priorities for the six-year period; solidarity, sharing of goods and personnel; formation and studies; evangelisation; the service of authority; the local and worldwide fraternity. These are the important subjects on which the Chapter will express its opinion during the coming sessions. In the afternoon the entire Chapter Assembly came together to share the work done in the Commissions and to formulate some questions for clarification.

La giornata di oggi è stata caratterizzata dal lavoro dei capitolari nelle varie Commissioni tematiche: è attraverso questa modalità di incontro e di scambio reciproco che si concretizzeranno le proposizioni da sottoporre al giudizio dell’Assemblea. I temi intorno ai quali si sta svolgendo la riflessione sono i seguenti: Revisione di alcuni articoli degli Statuti generali; Giustizia, Pace e Salvaguardia del Creato; Priorità per il sessennio; Solidarietà, condivisione di beni e persone; Formazione e studi; Evangelizzazione; Servizio dell’autorità; Fraternità locale e universale. Argomenti importanti sui quali il Capitolo dovrà esprimere nelle prossime sessioni il proprio orientamento. Nel pomeriggio l’intera Assemblea capitolare si è riunita per condividere il lavoro svolto nelle commissioni e per formulare alcune domande di chiarimento.
