The linguistic groups celebrated the memorial of St. Didacus and took up the activities of the PCO under his protection. Today was also a day of intense work, carried out in both groups and plenary sessions. Among the topics discussed were the economic report, appreciated for its clarity, and the proposals for the holding of the General Chapter 2003. With regard to the General Chapter, the PCO suggests some topics to the Definitory General: The Friar Minor: a man in relationship with God, the friars, the world; Indications that emerged from the PCO on the review of the Structures; Relationship between authority and obedience; The new organisation of the Conferences; The evaluation of the contributions from the Provinces to the General Curia for the good of all the Order; Revision of the Secretariats General and Offices of the General Curia, especially of the Secretariat for Missionary Evangelisation; Discussion on the Report of the Minister General in greater detail by all; Relationship with the laity and the local church; Parish and Parochial Ministry and Friar Pastors; Community life; The vocation and mission of the Order in the third millennium. There was unanimous consensus in suggesting Assisi for the location of the next General Chapter and a duration of about four weeks. The day's work came to an end with prayer in common in the cloister of St. Clare. After supper a common recreation with the exhange of gifts followed.

I gruppi linguistici hanno celebrato la memoria di san Diego e sotto la sua protezione si sono riprese le attività del CPO. Anche oggi è stata una giornata di lavoro intenso svolto sia nei gruppi che nelle sessioni plenarie. Tra i temi discussi c'era la relazione economica apprezzata per la sua chiarezza, le proposte per lo svolgimento dcl Capitolo Generale 2003. Per quanto riguarda il Capitolo generale il CPO suggerisce al Definitorio generali alcune tematiche: Il frate minore: uomo in relazione con Dio, i fratelli, il mondo; Indicazioni emerse dal CPO sulla revisione delle strutture; Rapporto tra autoritá e obbedienza; Nuova disciplina delle Conferenze; Verifica dei contributi delle Province alla Curia generale per il bene di tutto l'Ordine; Revisione delle Segreterie generali e degli Uffici della Curia generale, soprattutto della Segreteria generale per l'evangelizzazione missionaria; Discussione della Relazione del Ministro generale, su ogni punto, da parte di tutti; Relazioni con il laicato e la Chiesa locale; Parrocchia, ministero parrocchiale e Frati parroci; Vocazione e missione dell'Ordine nel III millennio. C'è stato un consenso unanime per suggerire la celebrazione del Capitolo generale prossimo ad Assisi con una durata di circa quattro settimane. La giornata si è conclusa con una preghiera comune nel chiostro di Santa Chiara. Dopo cena seguì una ricreazione comune con lo scambio di regali.

Los grupos lingüísticos han celebrado la memoria de San Diego, bajo cuya protección hemos reanudado hoy las actividades del CPO. Hoy ha sido también una jornada de intenso trabajo, tanto en los grupos como en las sesiones plenarias. Entre los temas tratados se encontraban el informe del económico, muy apreciada por su claridad, y las propuestas para el desarrollo del Capítulo general de 2003: El hermano menor, un hombre en relación con Dios, con los hermanos y con el mundo; Indicaciones del CPO sobre la revisión de las estructuras; Relación entre autoridad y obediencia; Nueva disciplina de las Conferencias; Verificación de las contribuciones de las Provincias a la Curia general para el bien de toda la Orden; Revisión de las Secretarías generales y de las Oficinas de la Curia general, sobre todo de la Secretaría para la evangelización misional; Diálogo, por parte de todos, sobre todos los puntos del informe del Ministro general; Relaciones con el laicado y con la Iglesia local; Parroquia, ministerio parroquial y Hermanos párrocos; La vocación y misión de la Orden en el tercer milenio. Se ha sugerido, por unanimidad, que el próximo Capítulo general se celebre en Asís, y se ha sugerido que dure unas cuatro semanas. La jornada ha concluido con una oración en común en el claustro de Santa Clara.
