The 17th was a day of movement. In the morning the topic of "Formation for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation was presented in the aula and then reflected on. The Friars from the Office for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation of the General Curia, Br. Peter Schorr and Br. Francisco O’Conaire, presented the topic and guided the discussion in the aula. The presentation was followed with a lot of interest by the participants in the Congress and the dialogue was very animated.

We also received a visit during the morning from Brother Stefano Ottenbreit, Vicar General, who would preside at the Eucharistic celebration at the Tomb of St. Francis in the evening.

The afternoon was given over to rest, pilgrimage and a cultural visit. All these aspects were present during the visit we made to the Sacred Convent. At 4 o’clock we were divided up into four language groups: French, English, Italian and Spanish. Accompanied by four Conventual Friars we visited the Basilica, the Tomb of St. Francis and the friary. At 6.30 we began the Eucharistic celebration at the Tomb. The Vicar General commented on the words of Francis, which had been passed on to us as "The Testament of Siena": mutual love, the love of poverty and love of the Church. They were very emotional moments, especially when, during the penitential rite, we listened to the reading of the Testament of Our Father and Brother Francis in different languages.

Supper followed the visit and the Eucharist. This time we had supper with the Conventual Friars of the Sacred Convent. It was a time of intense fraternal communion and Franciscan joy. All ended in song, which continued on the bus back to Saint Mary of the Angels.

Il giorno 17 è stato un giorno movimentato. Al mattino il tema che è stato presentato in aula e sul quale si è riflettuto, è stato "Formazione alla giustizia, pace e salvaguardia del creato".

I relatori provenivano dall’Ufficio Giustizia, Pace e Salvaguardia del Creato" della Curia: Fra Peter Schorr e Fra Francisco O’Conaire. Essi hanno presentato e guidato la discussione in aula. La presentazione, infatti, è stata seguita dai partecipanti al Congresso, con molto interesse e con un dialogo animato.

Abbiamo anche ricevuto una visita da fra Stefano Ottenbreit, Vicario Generale, che nella serata, presiederà la Celebrazione Eucaristica presso la Tomba di San Francesco.

Nel pomeriggio i frati, hanno avuto la possibilità di rilassarsi, di partecipare ad una visita guidata-pellegrinaggio al Sacro Convento. Alle 16,00 i frati si sono divisi in quattro gruppi linguistici: Francese, Inglese, Italiano e Spagnolo. Accompagnati da quattro frati Conventuali, abbiamo visitato la Basilica, la Tomba di San Francesco e il Convento. Alle 18,30 è iniziata la Celebrazione Eucaristica presso la Tomba del Santo. Il Vicario Generale ha commentato le parole di San Francesco che ci sono state tramandate com "Testamento di Siena": Amore reciproco, amore alla povertà e alla Chiesa. Sono stati dei momenti molto emozionanti, specialmente quando, durante il rito penitenziale, abbiamo ascoltato in diverse lingue la lettura del Testamento del nostro Padre e Fratello Francesco.

Dopo la Celebrazione èseguita la cena. Questa volta abbiamno fatto cena con i frati del Sacro Convento. È stato un tempo di intensa comunione fraterna e di gioia francescana. Tutto si è concluso con i canti che sono continuati anche nel bus che ci ha riportati a Santa Maria degli Angeli.

El día 17 fue un día movido. Por la mañana se presentó en el aula y luego se reflexionó sobre el tema "Formación para la Justicia, Paz y Salvaguarda de la Creación". Expusieron el tema y guiaron la discusión en el aula los Hnos. de la Oficina de Justicia, Paz y Salvaguarda de la Creación de la Curia general, Fr. Peter Shorr y Fr. Francisco O’ Conaire. La exposción fue seguida con mucho interés por los participantes en el Congreso y el diálogo estuvo muy animado.

Durante la mañana también recibimos la vista del Hermano Vicatio General, Fr. Stefano Ottenbreit, quien presidiría la celebración eucarística de la tarde en la Tumba de San Francisco.

La tarde fue de descanso, peregrinación y visita cultural. Todos esos aspectos estuvieron presentes en la visita que hicimos al Sacro Convento. A las 16.00 horas no dividíamos en cuatro grupos lingüísticos: Italiano, Francés, Inglés y Español. Acompañados de cuatro hermanos conventurales visitamos detenidamente las Basílicas y la Tumba de San Francisco, así como el convento. A las 18.30 comenzamos la celebración eucarística en la Tumba. El Vicario general comentó las palabras de Francisco que se nos trasmitieron como "El Testamento de Siena": Amor recíproco, amor a la pobreza y amor a la Iglesia. Fueron momento muy emotivos, especialmente cuando en el acto penitencial escuchamos en diversas lenguas el Testamento de nuestro Padre y Hermanos Francisco.

Después de la visita y la Eucaristía vino la cena. Y esta vez la cena fue con los hermanos conventuales del Sacro Convento. Fue un momento de intensa comunión fraterna y de alegría franciscana. Todo terminó con cantos que se prolongaron en el autobús hasta Santa María de los Ángeles.
