We beg your pardon because yesterday, the 24th, we did not send out our small chronicle as on other days. The reason is quite simply because of the amount of work. It was a beautiful day despite all. Apart from the voting on some of the Proposals, we made a pilgrimage to San Damiano in the afternoon. We had personal prayer followed by the celebration of Vespers presided over by Br. Ernest Siekierka, Vice-Secretary General for Formation and Studies. The "Master of ceremonies" was Br. Manolo Díaz Buiza. The homily was on St. Clare. It was logical, given the place where we were and because Clare cannot be left out in any reflection on Franciscan Formation. There was general satisfaction with the celebration.

Back in the place of the Congress we had a very agreeable surprise. The Management of "Domus Pacis" and of the house of the "Stuoie" (Mats) had prepared a banquet. A gala supper with orchestra. It was one of the most joyful moments of the Congress. Thankful for all these attentions on the part of those who welcomed us, we went to rest praising the "giver of all good".

Today, the 25th, was a heavier day: votes and discussions in groups and in plenary sessions. In any case it was necessary to undergo all this "sweet purgatory" in order to bring to a happy ending the work begun almost two weeks ago.

Among the pleasant visits that we have received was that of Br. Ivan Matic, Assistant General to the SFO on behalf of our Order. We are thankful for it as well as for the messages that continue to arrive from different parts of the world. Thank you all for your company (even if at a distance) and for your prayers, for which there are no frontiers.

Chiediamo scusa perché ieri, 24, non vi abbiamo inviato la piccola cronaca di tutti i giorni. Il motivo è semplicemente a causa del molto lavoro. In ogni modo è stato un giorno meraviglioso. A parte le votazioni che abbiamo fatto su alcune proposte, il pomeriggio siamo andati in pellegrinaggio a San Damiano. Preghiera personale e celebrazione dei vespri è stato il programma. I vespri sono stati presieduti da Fra Ernest Siekierka, Vicesegretario generale per la formazione e gli studi. Il "maestro di cerimonia" è stato fra Manolo Diaz Buiza. Nell’omelia ha parlato di Santa Chiara. Era logico per il luogo dove ci trovavamo e perché Chiara non può mancare in una riflessione sulla formazione francescana. La soddisfazione per la celebrazione è stata generale.

Nella sede del Congresso abbiamo avuto una gradevole sorpresa. La direzione della "Domus Pacis" e della "Casa delle Stuoie" ci ha preparato una festa. Cena di gala con orchestra. E’ stato uno dei momenti più felici del Congresso. Ringraziando per tutte le attenzioni da parte di chi ci accoglie, siamo andati a riposare lodando il "datore di ogni bene".

Oggi, 25, è stato un giorno un po’ pesante. Votazioni, discussioni in gruppo e nell’assemblea plenaria. In ogni modo era necessario passare per questo "soave purgatorio" per poter portare a termine il lavoro iniziato già da quasi due settimane.

Tra le piacevoli visite che abbiamo ricevuto c’è quella del nostro fratello Ivan Matic, Assistente generale per l’Ordine dell’O.F.S. Lo ringraziamo veramente, come anche ringraziamo per i messaggi che ci stanno arrivando da varie parti del mondo. Grazie a tutti per la vostra vicinanza (anche se a distanza) e per le vostre preghiere, per quali non c’è frontiera.

Pedimos disculpas porque ayer, día 24, no os enviamos la pequeña crónica de todos los días. El motivo fue sencillamente a causa del mucho trabajo. De todos modos ha sido un día hermoso. Aparte las votaciones que hemos hecho sobre algunas Propuestas, por la tarde hemos peregrinado a San Damián. Oración personal y celebración de vísperas fue el programa. Las vísperas han sido presididas por Fr. Ernest Siekierka, Vicesecretario general para la formación y los estudios. El "maestro de ceremonias" ha sido Fr. Manolo Díaz Buiza. La homilía versó sobre Santa Clara. Era lógico por el lugar donde nos encontrábamos y porque Clara no puede faltar en una reflexión sobre la formación franciscana. La satisfacción por la celebración ha sido general.

Ya en la sede con Congreso hemos tenido una agradable sorpresa. La dirección de la "Domus Pacis" y de la "Casa delle Stuoie" nos había preparado una fiesta. Cena de gala con orquesta. Fue uno de los momentos más alegres del Congreso. Agradecidos por todas estas atenciones de parte de quien nos acoge, fuimos a descanar alabando al "dador de todo bien".

Hoy, día 25, ha sido un día un poco más pesado. Votaciones y discusiones en grupos y en la plenaria. En cualquier caso era necesario pasar por este "suave purgatorio" a fin de llevar a buen término el trabajo iniciado hace ya casi dos semanas.

Entre las agradables visitas que hemos recibido está de nuestro hermano Ivan Matic, Asistente general de la O.F.S. por parte de nuestra Orden. Se la agradecemos de verdad, como también agradecemos los mensajes que nos están llegando desde distintas parte del mundo. Gracias a todos por vuestra compañía (aunque sea a distancia) y por vuestra oración, para la que no hay fronteras.
