The OFM Liturgical Commission

Friars of the OFM Liturgical Commission met with Br. Julio Cesar Bunader, Definitor General (Argentina) at the General Curia from June 27 to July 1, 2011. The committee reconvened in order to continue the work involved in reviewing and processing Franciscan liturgical texts. For this reason, the Minister General Br. Jose Rodriguez Carballo, OFM, sought the cooperation of the Friars of the Order by asking them to send any existing materials in their Provinces and Conferences. The members of the Liturgical Commission would like to thank the brothers who have do so already.

Moreover, they remind the Entities who have yet to send liturgical materials of saints and blessed approved by the competent authorities, to send it to the General Curia by December of 2011. The OFM members of the Liturgical Commission of the Order are Br. Fernando Campana (Italy – coordinator), Br. Bechkäuser Alberto (Brazil), Br. Francisco Martinez Fresneda (Spain), and Br. Stephen Malkiewicz (United States).
