GSME – Lamsai, Thailand – SAAOC

The Secretaries for Missions and Evangelisation of SAAOC (Conference of South Asia, Australia and Oceania), met in Lamsai, Thailand, accompanied by Fr Paskalis Syukur, Councilor of the area, Br Arturo Rios Lara, Fr Carlos Santos SGME of Rome and by the President of the Conference, Fr Paul Smith.

The meeting of the Conference provided for in the general program of the SGME has served to share the experience of the Entities complying with the mandates of the general chapter 2009 which has placed emphasis in the subsidies “sent to evangelize” and “Go and teach”, on the Parish and the pastoral education respectively, together with the consideration of the theme of the eco-pastoral. The program was developed a very good participation and creativity in the work, and during the liturgical moments was created a special environment of prayer, that has fostered a climate of special prayer, with the wealth of expressions in different countries of the Conference.

In the end, participants agreed on various proposals for the Entity, in order to develop the evangelizing mission of the Order.
