General Secretary
The Office of the General Secretary is manned by Br. Aidan McGrath ofm (Hiberniae Prov. – HIBERNIA) as General Secretary and his assistant Br. Stefano Lovato ofm (Veneta S. Antonii Patavini Prov. – ITALIA). It is this Office’s duty to keep all official correspondence between the Government of the Order and the various Entities and friars throughout the world.

Comunicato Tempo Forte March 2013
The General Definitory met in Tempo Forte from 11th to 22nd March 2013. During this period, as well as dealing with the ordinary business of the Order, the Minister General and the Definitory, as well as all the brothers of the General Curia fraternity, lived through the extraordinary events of the election and inauguration of POPE FRANCIS. The Minister General had the privilege of being one of the concelebrants at the Mass of the inauguration of the new pontificate and many of the brothers of the Definitory and the Curia shared in the celebrations in St Peter’s Square along with hundreds of thousands of others. Comunicato Tempo Forte January 2013

Comunicato Tempo Forte December 2012
The last Tempo Forte of 2012 began on Monday, 17th December and went right through until Friday, 21st December. After sharing some information about their activities after the November Tempo Forte, the Definitory devoted its attention to a wide variety of matters. Some 34 plichi (files) were examined – many of them, regrettably, having to do with the departure of brothers from the Order.
