Appeal for Myanmar

Dear Brothers and Sisters: May the Lord give you peace.
A new emergency situation is calling on us. The passage of the cyclone “Nargis” through the south- western region of Myanmar has left, up to today, the very sad balance of about 100,000 dead, 30,000 disappeared, thousands and thousands of injured and hundreds of thousands of homeless people. It is the greatest tragedy to strike Asia since 1991, when 143,000 people died in Bangladesh. (more…)
