The Office of the General Postulator for the causes of Saints is manned by Friar Giovangiuseppe Califano ofm (Prov. Seraphica S. Francisci Assis. , Italia) as General Postulator and Friar Antonelli Francesco ofm (Prov. S. Francisci Stigmatizati, Tusciae, Italia) as Vice General Postulator. They are assisted by Friar Macedonio Arellano ofm (SS. Petri et Pauli - Mexico) as Vice General Postulators.

It is this Office's duty to study and present to the diocesan curia
and the Holy See for beatification and canonisation the cases of persons (mainly
Franciscans from all the Franciscan Family) who have shown concrete signs of
holiness in the heroic exercise of all virtues.
