From May 4–6, 2026, the friars of the Czech St. Wenceslas Province, gathered at the Convent of Our Lady of the Snows, in Prague, for their Provincial Chapter, which was also attended in the first days by Br. Konrad Cholewa, General Definitor.
During these days, filled with prayer and fraternal fellowship, the friars discussed the transformation of the Province into an Autonomous Custody by 2029. They also recommended establishing a new formation community in Hájek near Prague and launching a pilot foundation project to relieve the brothers of concerns about material matters. They further called for a greater and more coordinated evangelization effort and an authentic presence on social media.
