Fraternal meeting of the Provinces of Malta and Sicily

From February 24 to 27, 2026, the Guardians and Delegates of the Province of St. Paul the Apostle of Malta and the Province of the Holy Name of Jesus of Sicily (Italy), together with the Definitors of the two Provinces, gathered in Malta at the Jesuit Fathers' Center of Spirituality for a time of formation, fraternity, and discussion on the ministry entrusted to them.

On the morning of February 25, the friars participated in an online meeting with the General Minister Br. Massimo Fusarelli, who proposed some concrete steps to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen collaboration between the Provinces.
On February 26, guided by the General Definitor Br. Cesare Vaiani, the friars enjoyed a formative moment drawing from the Manual of Guardians, published by the Order in 2019.

During these days, there was lively discussion and wonderful moments of fraternity, enriched by cultural outings to Rabat and Valletta.
All participants were filled with gratitude to the Lord, as they enjoyed the richness of fraternity and the beauty of God, the Giver of all good gifts.
