May 2, 2022. We publish the Guidelines of the Franciscan Centenary to celebrate several events: the 800th anniversary of the Rule of St. Francis, the Christmas of Greccio (2023), the Stigmata (2024), the Canticle of the Creatures (2025), and, at the culmination, the Passover of Francis (2026).
It will be "An articulated Centenary celebrated in several Centenaries".
This text offers some common guidelines for charismatic deepening in our fraternities and in the various organisations that journey with us.
Furthermore, it provides guidelines for the organisation of the various Centenaries at the local level; a framework on which to base our formation programmes; an agile tool for working on the themes of the various Centenaries that make up this single Centenary 2023-2026, crowned by the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Passover of our Seraphic Father.
