To access the General Archives, it is necessary to submit a request, accompanied, in the case of university students, by a letter of introduction from an accredited scientific research institute or a person qualified in the field of historical research. The request must state: surname, name, qualification, profession, nationality, address of habitual residence, in addition to the reasons for the research. The request must be sent to the following e-mail address: archivum@ofm.org. Once accepted, the user can access the General Archives according to the reception hours.
The General Archives is open to the public during the following indicative hours:
From September 21st to June 30th, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The General Archives is closed to the public from July 1st to September 20th.
